I admit it and told you so before. I didn’t want to do it. I tried to come up with excuses not to do it, but ultimately I know I would have been mad at myself if I didn’t go for my 8 miles today. So I laced up and headed out the door. I just had to keep thinking that I haven’t missed a day in my training plan yet and just because isn’t really a good enough reason to start today.
Did it suck as much as I thought? Possibly
Did I need to stop and rub my foot? Yes, twice.
Am I pissed about that? Yup.
Did it suck? Once again, yes.
Am I glad I did it? Absolutely!
The key is just to keep going even when you don’t feel like it. That’s just the way it is.
